Job Description Job Description Senior Loan Officer & Loan Officer Nonprofit Community Development Financial Institution Loan Officer: Ideally Central Coast Area; $65,000 to $90,000 per year, with potential flexibility based on experience + incentive potential Senior Loan Officer: Anywhere in CA with close proximity to an agricultural region; $100,000 to $120,000 per year + incentive potential Terrific lending positions with a nonprofit Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI). The organization is in a growth phase and has almost doubled its staff over the last 3 years. The Senior Loan Officer and Loan Officer will support underserved communities and drive growth in the organization's lending. Both positions will manage an existing portfolio of clients and cultivate new relationships. The roles will provide high levels of client service throughout the lifecycle of the loan process, including application assistance and post-closing support. The positions will also collaborate to assess business viability, analyze financial information and issue loan recommendations. The loan officers are also responsible for monitoring the overall performance of their loan portfolios. The Senior Loan Officer will manage larger loans and may also have management responsibilities. Qualified candidates will have approximately 2 to 5+ years of relevant experience in lending and relationship management. Bilingual Spanish is a plus. The salary range for the Senior Loan Officer is $100,000 to $120,000 and for the Loan officer is $65,000 to $90,000 per year, with potential for flexibility based on experience. These positions are also eligible to participate in a performance incentive program. Responsibilities: * Business development, including the identification and cultivation of prospective clients * Provide a high level of customer service to an existing portfolio of clients * Perform financial analysis and determine client loan eligibility * Represent the organization at events to build relationships and expand its impact in the communities it serves * Potentially oversee other Loan Officers (Senior Loan Officer) Qualifications: * Senior Loan Officer: Approximately 5+ years of relevant experience * Loan Officer: Approximately 2+ years of relevant experience * Bachelor's required * Mission-driven with the desire to provide support to businesses in the community * Experience performing financial analysis * Ability to interface with a diverse set of stakeholders, including attorneys, farmers, and executive management * Experience with small businesses, farmers, fisheries, and/or other agricultural related organizations is a plus * Bilingual Spanish preferred for the Loan Officer role Equal Opportunity Employer.
